The remains of a baby mammoth have been unearned in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District in the northern Urals.
A group of paleontologists are on their way to examine the remains and transport them to the district capital by air if weather conditions prove favorable.
The area is known as the location where the remains of another baby mammoth, nicknamed Lyuba, were found in 2007.
Archaeologists say that Lyuba lived about 37,000 years ago.
Its remains are stored at the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
