Preshanth Jagannathan captured this photo of Moon-Venus Conjunction on May 16, 2010 in Asalatpur Khadar, New Delhi, NCT, India.
Preshanth used a Canon EOS 450D and 770mm focal length William optics mounted on top of a Meade LX200 Telescope. Exposure time is 1/15 sec.
“The image was shot with very little time on hand as the crescent moon was about to slip into the haze that envelops the horizon. The long focal length (770mm) came in handy to capture the surface of the crescent in great detail.”
